How to Enable or Disable HDMI-CEC on Fire TV
Navigate to Settings > Display & Audio > HDMI CEC Device Control
HDMI-CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) is a feature that allows you to control multiple HDMI-connected devices with a single remote control. If you have an Echo device with HDMI-CEC enabled, you can use voice commands to control your Fire TV. To enable or disable HDMI-CEC on your Fire TV, follow these steps:
- From the Fire TV home screen, go to Settings.
- Select Display & Audio.
- Select HDMI CEC Device Control.
- Toggle the switch to On or Off.
